ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The academic year is quickly approaching its end and schools across the Capital Region are finalizing the last months of their calendars. During this process, several districts have added extra days off to compensate for unused snow days.

The extra days off will be used in the event that no additional emergency or snow days are needed prior. Families should continue to check with their districts for any further updates to the school calendar.
