Meet Retired Air Force Master Sergeant Jim Cundiff
Jim Cundiff has been all over this world, but the retired Air Force veteran of 22 years decided to settle in Boonville, Indiana. He and his wife, Gladys, have called the Warrick County town home for 29 years now, after retiring from the Air Force. I was looking for a part-time job years ago when my friend called me and told me to go see this Jimmy guy, the Quartermaster at VFW Post 3418 in Boonville. The first day I met Jimmy, he said he recognized my name, as many do from my years of radio. After telling Jimmy I was on 99.5 WKDQ, with all the honesty in his heart, Jimmy told me he thoroughly disliked listening to me. Needless to say, we’ve been friends since that day, and he’s become a big WKDQ listener ever since my return to radio.
