1 injured after shooting in South Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro police officers detained several people after a shooting in South Nashville, according to authorities.

The shooting was reported shortly after 12:30 a.m. in the 2400 block of Scott Valley Drive, just off Murfreesboro Pike. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound, who was then taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Metro Nashville Police Department told News 2 several people were seen leaving the scene when officers arrived, and their vehicle was stopped by officers. Those people were reportedly detained for questioning, but no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
