East Nashville residents still without power after storms; NES tests new communication

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Residents in East Nashville say they are still waiting for power to be restored after last night’s storms knocked out electricity to thousands.

Nashville Electric Service (NES) says crews are actively working to restore outages while also preparing for additional severe weather expected tonight.

This time, however, the utility says it is taking a new approach to communication—after facing criticism during this past winter’s storms…
