An investigation is underway after a person was found dead in the Pennypack Creek on Tuesday afternoon, Philadelphia police say.
Officers were called for a report of a suspicious death near the 3100 block of Rhawn Street in the Holmesburg section of the city around 4:41 p.m.
That’s where they found the body of an adult in the creek. It’s not yet known if the body is that of a man or a woman.
