Police Spot “Suspicious” Man, What They Found Next Led to Arrest

Wilmington Police have taken a 32-year-old man into custody following a daytime arrest that led to the recovery of a firearm and narcotics.

The arrest occurred on April 27 at approximately 1:42 p.m., when officers assigned to the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the 700 block of North Washington Street. Police reported observing a male subject acting suspiciously and made contact with the individual, who was identified as Rashad Walker.
