AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The Amarillo City Council discussed a draft environmental review for the proposed Hollywood Road II Wastewater Treatment Facility at its regular meeting Tuesday.
Staff said the environmental information document helps satisfy requirements from the Texas Water Development Board for the $60 million low-interest loan the city submitted.
“The cost we know is going to be high and it’s going to be a challenge so this is just another one of those mechanisms and one of those boxes that need to be checked to allow us to be able to get the funding that will get this project off the ground,” said David Prescott, councilmember for the City of Amarillo…
