LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. — A drone and multiple illegal drugs were seized outside Limestone Correctional Facility during a late-night patrol, according to the Alabama Department of Corrections.
On April 27, at approximately 12:05 a.m., an Alabama Department of Corrections K-9 unit was patrolling near the facility when officers spotted a suspicious vehicle parked nearby. Officers approached the vehicle and observed a drone and contraband.
