HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Good Wednesday morning. Lingering showers and storms continue to track from west to east early this morning.
We are not anticipating any stronger storms this morning, but some heavy rainfall, lightning and pea size hail may still be possible. Please watch for debris on roads during the morning drive. Temperatures are still mild in the low 60s with a damp feel when heading out the door. Morning showers will come to an end between 9 and 10 AM leaving us dry for the remainder of the day. High temperatures will reach the middle 70s with the wind becoming more northwesterly into the afternoon.
Skies remain generally cloudy overnight with cool morning lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s by daybreak Thursday. Thursday is partly cloudy and cooler as high temperatures struggle to reach the upper 60s thanks to the northerly breeze.
