LINCOLN, Neb. — A portion of O Street in downtown Lincoln will temporarily close Thursday for the Project NO Street Block Party, which the city is calling a “rare event.”
Lincoln Transportation and Utilities said O Street between 13th and 16th streets will close beginning at 6 a.m. Thursday. It is scheduled to reopen between 9 and 10 a.m. on Friday.
The free block party event starts at 6 p.m. Local bands AM/FM and the Church of Blues, featuring “The Voice” competitors Jadyn Cree Olesen and Josh Hoyer, will perform at the intersection of 14th and O streets…
