Keep the Hub City Strong Without Losing What Makes It Home

I’m not on the ballot this time around—but that doesn’t mean I don’t have a game plan.

Right now, Lubbock’s looking at a four-person race that feels like a choice between “more of the same” and “dreams too big for this town.” If history tells us anything, this city leans toward steady hands over big swings. That’s fine—but if it were up to me, I’d push for a little more balance between responsibility and vision.

💰 Run It Like a Household

First off, I’d treat the city budget like a household budget. You pay your bills first—no excuses. But every now and then, you spend a little on things that actually make life enjoyable. That’s not reckless—that’s living. And if we want to stay the “Hub City,” we’ve got to invest in both function and quality of life.

🐾 My Core Focus: Pets, Police, and Potholes

If I had to boil it down, my priorities would be simple:

Pets – I’d make sure Lubbock Animal Services has everything they need to truly get ahead of the pet population issue. They’re doing solid work now—but with a little more funding and support, we could start emptying shelters instead of just managing them…
