Raymond Central substitute teacher cited for making disturbing comments in class

RAYMOND, Neb. (KOLN) – The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office has provided additional details and identified the substitute teacher who allegedly made inappropriate and “concerning statements” to Raymond Central Junior & Senior High students last Friday.

On April 24, deputies responded to a belated disturbance at Raymond Central Public Schools involving a substitute teacher.

The investigation revealed that the teacher, identified as 44-year-old Samuel Carman, of Lincoln, had made several inappropriate and disturbing comments, causing several students to leave the classroom to find help, LSO said…
