Josey Scott, former frontman of platinum-selling nü-metal/hard rock band Saliva, has had his entire tour trailer stolen in Tulsa, Oklahoma, wiping out the band’s equipment in one shot. The theft was reported on April 28th, with Scott posting photos of the stolen gear — which included guitars, basses, drums, amps, stage clothes, and other personal items — and calling on fans to help track it down.
Scott wrote on social media: “Stolen van FULL of gear in Tulsa, OK! Please keep your eyes peeled for license plate 771-542K and any of the gear in the pics. If you see any of it, please don’t hesitate to call the Tulsa Police. Years’ worth of equipment, just gone.”
A GoFundMe has since been launched to help the band recover and stay on the road. Scott explained in the campaign: “Today, something devastating happened. Our tour trailer was stolen — and with it, nearly everything needed to perform. Inside that trailer was our band’s gear, equipment, merch, and essential items that make these shows possible. Years of work, investment, and livelihood — gone in an instant.”…
