Sunny, Mild and Comfortable Today

  • Sunny and warmer today, comfortable afternoon
  • Near 80 tomorrow, peak warmth arrives fast
  • Slight cooldown, then heat returns this weekend

SUNSHINE RETURNS, BIG WARM-UP BEGINS

It will turn noticeably warmer and brighter as we head into today and tomorrow. After the recent stretch of clouds, it will feel like a big shift. There will be plenty of sunshine, and the air will feel drier and more comfortable. Temperatures will climb quickly—first reaching the upper 60s to low 70s, then jumping well above that.

There will be a small chance for a few light showers in the Cascades and nearby foothills, but for the vast majority of the region, there will be no rain to worry about.

ANOTHER WARM-UP AHEAD

Looking ahead, the warm weather isn’t done. Temperatures are expected to climb again, and there’s growing confidence that many inland areas will push back above 80 degrees. It will stay mostly dry, especially for lower elevations, though the mountains could still see an occasional light shower…
