VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Local businesses are still talking about the recent curfew that affected everyone at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

Virginia Beach judge sides with businesses, stops all-ages Oceanfront curfew

Business owners, city leaders, and even law enforcement packed Smartmouth Brewing for an Atlantic Avenue Association meeting, the first since the lifting of the Oceanfront all-ages curfew.

Those who feel they were caught in the middle of the curfew — Oceanfront businesses.

“It’s something that hasn’t been done before, so there was a lot of talk about it, but more importantly, a lot of solutions on how to move forward, and I just think it was very healing, almost for everybody,” Jaketa Clark Thompson, owner of Omnia Unlimited, L.L.C., said…
