Rochester, N.Y. — Nobody was hurt during a crash Wednesday night involving an on-duty officer for the Brighton Police Department, according to police.
The officer was driving a marked patrol car with its emergency lights activated while responding to a call in the area of East River Road and Idle Lane around 8 p.m. when their vehicle was struck at the intersection of East Henrietta and Westfall roads in Rochester, police said.
Investigators determined the officer was heading west on Westfall Road and faced a red light at the intersection.
