EL PASO, Texas (Border Report) — A Mexican man with frequent border-crosser privileges attempted to smuggle a load of fentanyl powder into the U.S. earlier this month.
According to a news release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the 20-year-old arrived at the San Ysidro Port of Entry on April 13 via the SENTRI lanes, short for the Secure Electronic Network for Travelers Rapid Inspection program.
