CHURCH POINT, LA. (KLFY) — Authorities continue to search for wanted suspect, Herbert Dugas, 17, of Rayne following a reported escape during an arrest.
According to police, Dugas, along with a girl, allegedly committed a car jacking while being armed with a firearm on April 27. Following further investigation into the incident officers said they located Dugas and the girl at a residence on Barousse Street.
During his arrest, Dugas allegedly fought officers and attempted to flee but then was subdued. As Dugas and the girl were being escorted to a unit, Dugas allegedly slip from the handcuffs and fled the scene, officers said…
