In addition to the Charlottesville Youth Council, the city has other ways to find meaningful experiences for young people. One of them is the Community Attention Youth Internship Program and applications for host organizations are now being taken for the summer session.
“If you are an organization or a business that don’t mind being a mentor at no cost, which will then build a stronger community, we are looking for you,” said assistant City Manager Sam Roman at the April 22 meeting of City Council.
