Woman charged in Cobb after horses found in poor health

A Cobb County woman is accused of starving two horses—one described as extremely emaciated—prompting multiple animal cruelty charges, according to police.

Theresa M. Robinson was charged with animal cruelty on Aug. 12, 2026, at 12:45 p.m. at a residence 3982 Doe Run Drive in Powder Springs, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.

Robinson had care and custody of Sonny, a Tennessee Walker horse, that was extremely emaciated, and Bullseye, a brown quarter horse, that was in the beginning stages of being emaciated…
