A major new amenity is taking shape in one of McKinney’s largest master-planned communities. Stonebridge Ranch Community Association officially broke ground on its new Beach Club, a redesigned recreational space aimed at expanding outdoor experiences for residents. The project, located at 6201 Virginia Parkway, is expected to open in May 2027.
The groundbreaking ceremony brought together community leaders, project partners and city officials to mark the start of construction on what is being positioned as a long-term centerpiece for the neighborhood.
A Modern Update To A Longtime Community Feature
The new Beach Club is designed to build on the legacy of the original amenity while introducing a more contemporary, resort-style experience. Planned features include a beach-entry pool, dedicated children’s areas, expanded playground equipment, shaded seating and picnic spaces, along with fire pits and upgraded facilities. The design also emphasizes improved accessibility and enhanced security.
