Bison Track & Field Competes at SMU, Oregon State this Weekend

The North Dakota State University track & field teams will split between a pair of meets this weekend, competing Friday and Saturday, May 1-2. The NDSU distance runners and a majority of the Bison throws crew will compete at the Oregon State High Performance meet in Corvallis, Ore. The NDSU sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers and vaulters will head to the SMU Invitational in Dallas, Texas.

Both meets are new additions to the NDSU outdoor schedule this year.

Six Bison athletes are ranked among the top 50 in the nation at this point of the season for their respective events. Women’s high jumper Arienne Birch leads the group at No. 32 nationally in the high jump, followed by Joshua Kyei-Baffour (35th in 110m hurdles), Reece Grosserode (41st in triple jump), Aaron Cummings (43rd in pole vault), Brady Goss (46th in 3000m steeplechase), and Kaden Pastian (48th in shot put)…
