COLUMBIA BOROUGH, Pa. (WHTM) — The new chief of the Columbia Borough Police Department who’s making history said she would not have made it to where she is without those who came before her.
It wasn’t until later in Lt. Holly Arndt’s career that she decided she wanted to lead the police department.
“I started off when I was younger training new officers,” Arndt said. “And that’s really what I guess led me to my first rank was corporal, and then sergeant and lieutenant was the most recent last year. And when I attended Northwestern University Police School of Command, that’s when it really hit me that I wanted to lead this agency.”…
