MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A domestic assault suspect out on bond was taken into custody after removing his ankle monitor and being found in a closet, according to Tipton County Sheriff Shannon Beasley.
On April 28, deputies said they were made aware of an ankle monitor alert for suspect Orlandis Murray, 40, who was out on bond and wearing the monitor for an aggravated domestic assault charge.
Sheriff Beasley said that Murray had likely removed the GPS monitoring device.
