Tallahassee Fla. — State officials are taking extra precautions after bedbugs were found inside a Florida state office building in Tallahassee.
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection confirmed three isolated cases inside the Bob Martinez Center. Officials said they recently found five dead bedbugs in two adjacent offices on the same floor.
Alexandra Kutcha, communications director with the FDEP, said in an email, “Those offices were promptly treated, and out of an abundance of caution, precautionary treatment is also being conducted throughout the floor by a licensed pest control provider.”…
