When it comes to restaurants closing in Amarillo, we know that it is going to happen. We just prefer it to come with some warning. There is something genuinely nice about being able to say goodbye.
We love having that chance to go in at least one more time. Somehow, it doesn’t seem to hurt so much that way. We will still go through the grieving process, especially if it’s a place that we have visited a lot.
When it’s located near home or work, it means there is an opportunity for it to be in our short list of places we go to the most. Saying goodbye to a favorite dish or two can be surprisingly difficult.
