2 taken to trauma center after Rockville Pike crash

ROCKVILLE, Md. (DC News Now) — First responders rescued someone from a car crash on Rockville Pike Thursday evening.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) spokesperson Pete Piringer said that around 6:15 p.m., two cars were involved in a crash in the 800 block of Rockville Pike.

One person was trapped and needed to be rescued.

MCFRS took two patients to a nearby trauma center for treatment. Both people were expected to survive…
