Firefighters battle 2-alarm blaze in SE Portland; home collapses

Firefighters battled a 2-alarm residential blaze in Southeast Portland’s Belmont neighborhood Friday morning, Portland Fire & Rescue said on social media.

“The primary home experienced a catastrophic structural collapse,” Portland Fire & Rescue reported at about 5:30 a.m. “There appears to be a gas line ruptured and burning under the rubble of the porch.”
