Parallel biscuit pop-up at . Head over to Parallel on NE Sandy and 31st Avenue tomorrow morning starting at 9am for their biscuit sandwich (and coffee) pop-up. They’ve been working on this biscuit for a while and are pretty excited about it. They’ll offer it as a pop-up first to see how folks like it, and possibly add it to the regular menu later. I was told, “House made everything even down to the American cheese.”
They are offering the following combos:
- Biscuit with Jam & Butter, $4
- Egg & Cheese Sandwich, $6
- Meat, Egg & Cheese Sandwich, $10
- Meat Only, $6
- Meat options (all housemade): Fried Chicken, Sausage, or Bacon

Stoopid Burger is now open at the Rocket Empire Machine. They used to be over on NE Glisan in The Ocean; now there are on NE Glisan in another one of Guerilla Development’s projects, Rocket Empire Machine. Montavilla News reported on this news, and this quote caught my eye: “He thinks people will appreciate the $5 ‘Super Boring’ burger on the menu, noting that people are experiencing hard times, and it is important to hit that price point.” Sounds good to me…
