Rate by 2 cents leaving county with less than $200K buffer
Greene County Board of Supervisors held public hearings Tuesday night, including Calendar Year 2026 Tax Rates and Fiscal Year 2027.
Following the public hearing and board discussion, the supervisors adopted the tax rates and passed the resolution to set the percentage of tax relief for 2026 as authorized by the Personal Property Tax Relief Act of 1998 as amended by the 2005 Appropriation Act. Personal property, machinery and tools, and other assessed taxes remain the same as 2025.
