BELMONT, MI – A Kent County golf course owner has agreed to provide safe drinking water to nearby homes and investigate PFAS contamination linked to buried industrial waste at a former gravel mine, Michigan officials said.
Under a settlement announced April 23, Boulder Creek Development Corp., which owns the golf course in Belmont, must extend permanent water hookups to nearby homes in Plainfield Township and reimburse the state for cleanup costs.
