SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – We have a First Alert Weather afternoon. But storms develop AFTER the Markets have closed. Market weather is windy and humid, but no thunderstorms during the Markets. We’re tracking a cold front moving into the Suncoast this weekend, and it’s bringing our best chance of rain in almost a month. Saturday late afternoon and evening will bring the best chance of thunderstorms on the Suncoast. A few strong to severe storms possible with the front. Gusty winds are likely with the chance for Marine Warnings. If you’re planning outdoor activities, keep an eye on the sky and be ready to move indoors if storms approach.
Showers end overnight. Sunday will bring strong North winds with much lower humidity.
