EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – The ‘5K on the Runway’ took off from the Evansville Wartime Museum on Saturday, May 2.
It was a record-setting year in 2025, which marked one of the largest 5K events in Evansville’s history. Last year’s runway 5K event generated $25,000 in funding support for the P-47 Foundation, which was a culmination of more than 900 race participants and generous event sponsors.
