Buffalo advocates push for lasting change to school discipline policies

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Residents and advocates in Buffalo are calling for lasting changes to student discipline policies following a new agreement aimed at reforming practices in Buffalo Public Schools.

A Saturday workshop outlined next steps for the Solutions Not Suspensions campaign, which seeks to address disparities identified in a state investigation and push for systemic improvements.
