Michigan’s road construction map is starting to get crowded as dozens of additional closures are scheduled to get underway this week.
More than 110 road projects and special events will begin between Sunday, May 3, and Saturday, May 9, resulting in various levels of closures on the state’s primary roads, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
This week, drivers should be aware of closures on I-696 in Oakland County, M-46 in Muskegon County, I-196 in Kent County, U.S. 131 in Mecosta County, M-99 in Jackson, U.S. 23 in Washtenaw County, and U.S. 2 in Iron and Dickinson counties…
