The First Weekend of May Ends on a Sunny Note

After a wet Saturday, sunshine returns on Sunday.

It will start quite cool (40s) but then warm to near 70 by afternoon.

Dry weather should continue through early in the week, with the next chance of rain by Thursday.

High temperatures will rise for both the Grand Strand, Pee Dee and Border Belt through mid-week.

Thursday will feature a cold front with scattered showers and a thunderstorm, not a soaking rain like Saturday.

Despite the decent rain on Saturday, we still have a long way to go to lessen the existing drought situation. Another 5-10 soaking rain days are needed to catch up…
