SCUCISD voters poised to approve $295 million in campus, stadium upgrades

Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD voters are poised to approve all elements of a $295 million facility upgrades proposal, according to unofficial election results posted Saturday.

The package included $231 million for campus improvements, $55 million for athletic stadium upgrades and $9 million for technology upgrades. Early results indicate SCUCISD will be able to fund and embark on the projects.

At least 60% of voters cast ballots in favor of each of the propositions, with the measure funding technology upgrades getting the greatest voter support, according to unofficial results from Bexar and Guadalupe counties as of 10 p.m. Saturday. State law requires school districts to put athletic facility improvements and technology upgrades in separate bond propositions…
