CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va (WVDN)- Competing with over 190 total schools on Friday and Saturday in Charlottesville, Virginia in the Dogwood Track Classic, the Greenbrier East track teams held their own and shattered some West Virginia records in the process.
The girls’ Annie Whited finished third in the 100-meters and also placed herself third all-time among females with a time of 11.91. She then notched a second-place finish in the 200-meters and shattered the WV all-time record with a time of 24.13.
To cap her incredible day, her and her 4×400 relay teammates of Kiana McClung, Noelle McClintic, and Neena McClintic, broke the state record with a time of 3:56.47. That was 2.5 seconds better than the previous mark…
