Thunderstorms Expected Before Another Cold Front Rolls In, Forecast Says

CHICAGO — More cold and rain is in the forecast for Chicago after a brief warmup on Sunday and Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunday saw temperatures near 70 degrees and Monday could see a high around 80 in Chicago. That is considered unseasonably warm, with May 4 seeing an average high temperature of 66 degrees, according to National Weather Service data.
