Kuna, Idaho (CBS2) – On Sunday morning, at approximately 2:36 a.m., two Ada County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies, an ACSO detective, three ACSO Forensic Scientists, and an investigator with the Ada County Coroner’s Office were processing a scene involving an individual who had taken their own life on S. Cole Rd. south of W. Ten Mile Creek Rd. in Kuna.
The Ada County Sheriff’s Office says the group heard gunshots, and approximately a dozen rounds began to ricochet near them, prompting them to take cover. No one was hurt. ACSO says Deputies were able to search the area for the source of the shots.
The Ada County Sheriff’s Office says Deputies located a vehicle with its lights blacked out driving north on S. Cole Rd. toward W. Ten Mile Creek Rd. They say the passenger discarded a firearm from the vehicle, which deputies later recovered. Deputies say both the driver and passenger were taken into custody without incident…
