HAUBSTADT, Ind. (WEVV) — The Haubstadt Police Department is cracking down on speeding after officers said they’ve documented multiple drivers going more than double the speed limit through town in recent months.
Town Marshal Jason Wright issued a stern warning to drivers, emphasizing that residential streets are not racetracks. He said the department has seen vehicles traveling at double and sometimes triple the posted speed limits.
