Horry County lifts outdoor burn ban

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Horry County is lifting its burn ban for non-incorporated areas effective immediately, officials said Monday morning.

The announcement comes less than a week after the South Carolina Forestry Commission lifted its statewide burn ban. Horry County’s burn ban had been in effect since April 8 as the area deals with severe drought conditions.
