NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The man accused of shooting an 18-year-old Belmont University student while she was walking near campus entered a guilty plea for her murder Monday.
Shaquille Taylor pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of Jillian Ludwig, as well as charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon as part of the plea deal.
The plea deal included a 35-year sentence for the murder charge, and an additional three years for the assault charges, which are to be served consecutively. The murder sentence is to be served with no possibility of early release.
