El Paso, you really showed out this weekend.
Between multiple music festivals running simultaneously, two sold-out nights of BTS at the Sun Bowl, and El Paso Comic Con 2026 bringing an absolutely stacked guest list to the Convention Center, the Sun City was operating at full chaos mode in the best possible way. It was the kind of weekend where you had to choose your adventure and hope you made the right call.
For one couple, Comic Con was definitely the right call.

Let that sentence sink in for a second. El Paso Comic Con pulled off the rare double by booking not one but two legendary stoner duos under the same roof. Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes, the brains and the chaos behind Jay and Silent Bob, came to the borderland alongside the original icons of counterculture comedy, Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong. The Convention Center has never smelled more like a good time…
