Green Bay Metro Fire Department performs water rescue near downtown

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials with the Green Bay Metro Fire Department say they performed a water rescue on Monday morning.

According to Life Safety Educator Ben Peters, the rescue call came in around 11:12 a.m. with crews sent to an area near downtown for a reported person in the water

Appleton Police reminds residents of pedestrian laws

Crews arrived and removed the person from the water, transporting them for non-life-threatening injuries and further evaluation.
