Two people were arrested Monday after Norfolk police executed multiple court-authorized search warrants at an apartment tied to Mirror Lake, seizing suspected narcotics along with a cache of rifles and handguns. Authorities described the raid as a coordinated, multi-agency operation and said the investigation is still very much active. The defendants were scheduled to be arraigned the next day in Wrentham District Court.
Multi-agency Operation Led To Arrests
In a press release posted to the Norfolk Police Department’s Facebook page, detectives identified the arrestees as Vannakone Kasomany and Jennifer Thibodeau. The department said officers executed multiple court-authorized search warrants in town as part of the case.
According to the release, Norfolk police coordinated the action with federal task force officers from nearby municipalities, the Drug Enforcement Administration’s New Bedford Resident Office, Plainville police detectives and an Ashland police K-9 officer.
