Organizations hold silent protest at CCU after video of student using slur

CONWAY, S.C. (WPDE) — Students and members of the Myrtle Beach NAACP held a silent protest on Monday at Coastal Carolina University (CCU) in response to a recently circulated social media video.

The video depicted a CCU student repeatedly saying the N-word. It reached more than one million views on Facebook before being taken down.
