ROCKFORD — Construction of a three-unit townhouse on the city’s south side is nearing completion, marking the final stretch of a project that puts a once blighted residential property back into use.
Nick Naruz, the owner of Toad Hall Books & Records on Broadway, worked with Ambassador Homes to develop the two-story structure at 2215 Wentworth Ave., which is in a neighborhood just north of the Rockford water tower along Harrison Avenue.
