Street closings OK’d for Taste of Ann Arbor, Sonic Lunch, Dexter-Ann Arbor Run

ANN ARBOR, MI — More street closures are coming to make way for spring and summer fun in Ann Arbor.

City Council voted Monday night, May 4, to approve closing Liberty Street between Division Street and Fifth Avenue on Thursdays from June through August for the Sonic Lunch summer concert series sponsored by Bank of Ann Arbor.

The closures to make the street a pedestrian mall in front of Liberty Plaza will last from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Thursday. However, on Thursday, July 16, Sonic Lunch will take the week off for the Ann Arbor Art Fair…
