TROY — The Martin Group, a full scale communications firm based in Buffalo with offices in Troy, Rochester and New York City, is acquiring Mr. Smith Agency, a Buffalo-based brand-strategy and content studio.
Terms of the deal, which closed Friday, were not disclosed. Hearst, which owns the Times Union, has an ownership stake in The Martin Group.
